Commission rates vary drastically depending on the vendor and what you are selling.
For example, Amazon typically pays 4% commission for selling tangible products. Although the commission is small, it’s easy to sell for Amazon, because millions and millions of happy customers fully trust Amazon. Products on JVZoo (mostly software and courses) typically offer a 50% commission. Clickbank (offering mostly info-products such as ebooks and courses) pay 50% to 75% commissions.
To give you an idea what that means … If you sell $100 worth of products on Amazon, you make $4. If you sell $100 on Clickbank, you make a $50 to $75 commission. That’s quite a large variance isn’t it?
Nevertheless, the affiliate platforms that work best for you depends on your niche, business model, and interests. You can also use multiple platforms. For example, if you want to sell survival tools such as these, you can promote things from Amazon and simultaneously promote info-products on survival through Clickbank.
How To Promote Affiliate Offers
Once you have selected the products you want to sell, you have two fundamental options for getting your offer in front of people. You can either use free marketing techniques or paid advertising.
