If you want to promote high-ticket products, you need to first build an audience that knows you, likes you and trusts you. After all, people do not just buy a $1000 online course or program from someone they do not know and trust. Would you?

So, building an audience before selling is key. An email list comes to mind as the perfect audience to sell to, but building one takes time, effort, and financial investment.

We need a way to build an audience fast and for free. In this post, I will show you how.

Please do not discount this method for its simplicity. It is very effective and powerful. Done right, it can generate tonnes of sales and profits for you, in just 30 days.

Another thing you need to know is that this method requires consistency. You need to work on it for 30 days at least to start seeing results. If you quit after a few days it will NOT work.

Having said that, let’s get to it.

Step one: Start a personal Facebook profile. You can use your existing profile if you want, but I find it best to start a new profile as you are going to post about online marketing, and your mom/aunt/personal friends may not be interested in that. So just start a new profile for the purpose of building an audience to sell to.

Step Two: Join 10 Facebook groups in your niche. So, if you’re going to promote a social media course, join Facebook groups that talk about social media marketing. If you plan on selling an e-commerce course, join groups about e-commerce etc. Join 5 big groups and 5 small groups. The big ones have lots of people but you may get lost in the crowd. The small ones have fewer people so less “traffic” but may allow you to develop more intimate and personal connections. So let’s get the best of both worlds. In both cases, make sure these groups have a high level of member engagement, daily posts, comments, shares etc.

Step three: start commenting and replying to other members’ comments in the groups you joined. Build some interaction with other members. Especially the active ones. Be friendly and helpful. Answer questions if you know the answers. Become a trusted member of that group and people will start noticing you.

Step four: send friend requests to group members you interacted with. Those who will accept your friendship are now your Facebook friends and will see whatever you post on your personal profile.

Step five: build trust and interaction in your personal profile.  While getting more and more friends from the groups, start posting 3 times a day on your personal profile. The purpose of these posts is to create conversation and trust with your new friends. Do not try to “sell” anything (not yet!). Just ask them questions like “What traffic method are you using?”, “how much are you making online?”. Share cool pictures, inspirational quotes etc. At this stage, you are just building that familiarity feeling people need to have with you, in order to trust you enough to buy from you later. During this step, you will also keep adding new friends from the groups as described in step four, so your friend base grows daily.

Step six: Start posting to promote products. After 20-30 days of doing the above steps daily, you are ready to post promotional posts, because your friends are now used to seeing your daily posts and responding to them. They now know you, like you and trust you. Just post something like: “I found a new method to market online that can make as much as $3421 per visitor I send to it. Comment “me” if you want a link”. You can also attach an image that conveys the message like a screenshot of a commission’s report etc. Your friends will comment with “me” in the comments section, and you will reply to each of the comments and send them, via messenger, the link to the product, opt-in page or webinar registration page you are promoting (e.g. the Ambassador program webinar!)

Step seven: Repeat the steps above as many times as necessary to get more friends, more leads, and more sales.

That’s it. It works remarkably well. I challenge you to do it yourself. You will be blown away by the results!
