Thanks for the video, I have just signed up to PlanetSMS and got the website set up with D9 Hosting/divinty. I am just looking for some advice really as the website is all geared up for electronic delivery. Am I best to wait and defer all my attention to physical CD Rom delivery?
Everything you have in the video I would like to do and ‘move with the times’ but am not to sure I am capable of putting all the links etc onto the cd. Are you planning a guide to preparing CDs so they are customised to have people’s individual links on there?

yes I al planning CD guides as well as supplying all the materials you need. As for website delivery that wont change, you will still deliver eBooks from your website via digital download.

Personally, eBay banning digi’ goods is too much of a work around for me. The automation was what made it for me!

Personally I’m still a bit miffed that ebay has taken this stand against such an eco-friendly and convenient delivery system.

Hi, John!
I wanted to let you know that you’ve been an inspiration through all of this digital mess at eBay. I was just about to do launch an ebook on selling digital delivery wallpapers when… the eBay cookie crumbled.
To top it off, eBay decided that my wallpaper sales (usually 75 cents to a dollar each) violated its feedback manipulation policies and put me on 30 day probation. My pleas for an appeal have only been met with automated replies.
So – I’ve taken this as an opportunity to try something else.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for the inspiration that you are to so many of us.

Great video John,
I tested the classified ads feature. It was an absolute disaster. I spent $40 on 4 ads over a 30 day period and got zero sales on products I was making sales from prior to the new rule. Therefore, classified ads is out as a practical solution to the rule change. I think before I throw more money away, I’ll sit out for 30 days and see how it works out for you.

Hello John,
I have been a customer for a long time and I am not sure where to ask this question so I sent it to “admin” too. If I have been using the old version of this product, do I also get the new version or should I just buy it? I am not trying to be a cheap person, but this eBay foolish behavior and other problems have cost me a lot of money! I definately want to find a way to get back together with “data” or whatever I will call it. Thanks a lot, you have given us a lot to think about.

I have to tell you that one of the absolutely Best thing you do, even for folks who haven’t paid a dime/ shiling/ chroner or fenning is the VIDEOS. I am not a genius when it comes to computers and I don’t always figure things out on the first crack. Some times I need to re-read things or re-wind videos to remember what I need to do. Your videos alone are worth more than most ebooks ever provide. I will be emulating this in my own online business and hope to launch with a bang within a month or two. PLEASE keep the videos coming. like N.W., ebay decided my ebook sales of your power seller ebook and the 1 cent auction which I sold as a set for 99 cents was a violation of their feedback manipulation policies and put me on 30 day suspension. And, they went back a year and stripped all the feedback I had received or given for those items. I had changed my model when they announced the change to delivering on CDs but didn’t help. I wonder how many people got the shaft from ebay while selling legitimate items?

Hi John, fantastic video with relevent information for all of us that are in limbo after the ebay changes.
The video does freeze quite a lot, but after hitting F5 and watching it all over & over again it really sunk in ha ha.
NOTE FOR OTHERS: At the bottom of the screen there’s a slidy thing next to the timer. When it freezes note the time and position of the slide then after pressing F5 click on the slide in roughly the same position as it was when it froze and it’ll start from there.
I, like many others, have had my account suspended for 30 days for feedback manipulation. With my feedback score also being reduced by about 650 and probably losing my powerseller status by the time I get back on it. I think this was for selling ebooks at $0.99. When I started listing on ebay.com I listed my ebooks at $1.95 with 15-20 listings every day and found that i would only sell a couple so I reduced the price to $1.49 and sales improved a little (4-6 sales a day) then I dropped the price to $0.99 and started selling 8-15 a day. The reason for dropping the price was to compete with everybody else that was doing the same. I will now take the advice in the video and price my ebooks, (opps!! Multi Media CD Roms) at £1.99 and if they don’t sell I will work on the adverts rather than the prices.
Quick note for BILL: You really are in safe hands mate. I also had problems when I started trying to set things up, I think most of us did. I can vouch for John Thornhill, Dan Thompson and Paula Brett, they’re all proper people and I trust them 100%. I’ve been under their wings for the last 12 months and they’ve never steered me wrong.

No opt-in forms, payment buttons, or links are allowed on a classified ad listing. Only a contact phone number is allowed. There are many sellers with payment buttons (BUY IT NOW) currently, but Ebay will eventually catch up with these sellers and boot the listings.
