The Real Reason You’re Still Broke (It’s Not What You Think)

The Real Reason You’re Still Broke (It’s Not What You Think)

You’ve got 47 courses sitting on your hard drive right now. Some of them still in the original “unopened” folder, like digital collectibles.

You know more about funnels, SEO hacks, and “secret strategies” than half the so-called experts you see on YouTube. You could probably run circles around them in theory. And yet—you’re still living paycheck to paycheck.

Why?

Because learning has quietly become your excuse for not doing.

Every week, you’re bombarded with something new.
A shiny launch from Russell Brunson that “everyone” is promoting.
A fresh AI tool promising to print money while you sleep.
Some new loophole that’s supposedly easier than the last loophole.

And here’s the sign you’re missing: when a hundred affiliates are all shouting about the same thing at once… it’s not because they’ve discovered a goldmine just for you. It’s because they’re cashing in on the hype.

Meanwhile, for you—it’s another distraction. Another thing to “learn.” Another chance to put off actually building something that works.

Here’s the cycle I see playing out again and again:

  • You buy every new course that hits your inbox.
  • You watch YouTube tutorials for hours, nodding like a genius, but never implement a thing.
  • You’re forever “researching” the next method, convinced the missing puzzle piece is out there somewhere.
  • You whisper to yourself, “I just need to learn one more thing before I start…”

But let’s be real: you’ve become a professional student, not a business owner.

Now here’s the truth bomb most people won’t like:

If you want to make serious money online, you have to stop being a collector of knowledge and start being a practitioner of action.

You have to pick a lane, put your blinders on, and push through the boring bits.

Because here’s the kicker: 99% of marketers—whether they’re making $0 or $100K a month—are still costing themselves a fortune by being unfocused.

Distraction is expensive.

The hardest (and most profitable) lesson I ever learned from my mentor?

Say NO to almost everything. Ruthlessly. Uncomfortably. Annoyingly.

So that you can say a big, unapologetic YES to the handful of things that actually move the needle.

One business model.
One mentor.
One product.
One traffic source.
For one year.

That’s it. No exceptions, no detours, no chasing squirrels.

When I finally swallowed that pill, I went from struggling month-to-month to building a business that just keeps growing.

But here’s the part nobody likes to hear:

Focus is boring.

It’s not sexy. It doesn’t look exciting on Instagram. It’s repetitive, sometimes tedious, and often feels too simple to be “the thing that works.”

Which is why most people never get rich online. They confuse stimulation with progress. They’re addicted to the high of “learning something new” instead of the satisfaction of mastering something proven.

So, they stay broke—not because they don’t know enough—but because they can’t sit still long enough to use what they know.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:

You already know enough to make your first $1K.

You already know enough to sign your first client, sell your first product, or launch your first offer.

The person making $10K/month? Chances are, they know less than you do. The only difference is—they’re doing the boring, consistent work you’ve been avoiding.

They’ve said no to shiny distractions. They’ve picked a path and stuck to it.

So, here’s my challenge to you:

Stop chasing every new angle. Stop buying courses like they’re Pokémon cards. Stop waiting for the mythical “one thing” that finally unlocks the money vault.

Pick your path. Commit to it for 12 months. Do the boring work that makes millionaires.

Because if you can do that, your life will look wildly different a year from now. And you’ll wonder why you wasted so much time looking for shortcuts when the “secret” was focus all along.

And if you truly are stuck and nothing you’re trying is working, maybe, just maybe, you have the wrong vehicle to drive you forward. If you want to learn more about this, Join My Free Group where more than 11k people are learning to do it the right way. What you got to Lose??
